THE NARRATIVE ARCHITECTS
The Author (Creative Director): Establishing the theme, the tone, and the moral of the visual story being told.
The Photographer (Cinematographer ): Deciding how the story is viewed is it a dark tragedy (low light, moody) or a bright comedy (high key, vibrant)?
The Character Designer (Stylist): Using clothing as costume to immediately inform the viewer who the protagonist is a rebel, a royal, or a sage.
The Protagonist (Model): The actor inhabiting the character. They must understand their motivation in the scene, even if there is no dialogue.
The Mask Makers (Glam Squad): Enhancing the character's features to emphasize their inherent traits a sharp wing for fierceness, a soft curl for innocence.
The World Builder (Art Director): Creating the setting that provides context and hints at what happened just before, and just after, the photo was taken.
